Admission to TLC is a conversation.  When considering an independent education, we understand that finding the “right fit” is an important part of your decision.  We also want to make sure that we can support your child along their educational journey.  While we do have class size limits to ensure an excellent educational experience, we will consider admission during the school year.  Contact us if you have questions about attending TLC, one of the top independent schools in Asheville, NC.

OUR THREE – STEP ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Exploration

During this phase we want you to get to know us. We invite you to come to campus either for an Open House or private tour. We’ll answer any questions you may have and start the application process.

Application

At this time, we’ll ask you to complete a formal application for admission to TLC. We’ll gather some information from you such as academic records, any special education accommodation documents, and discuss your educational goals for your child. You’ll also be asked to provide contact information for two teacher recommendations.

Consideration

Once the application is complete, the Admissions staff will review the information. We will then invite your child to visit and schedule a meeting with your family.
