At TLC we believe in the joy of childhood and the importance of discovery. Our program strives to educate the whole child, preparing them for the world beyond TLC.

Admission to TLC is a conversation. When considering an independent education, we understand that finding the “right fit” is an important part of your decision. We also want to make sure that we can support your child along their educational journey. While we do have class size limits to ensure an excellent educational experience, we will consider admission during the school year.
OUR 4 – STEP ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Exploration
During this phase we want you to get to know us. We invite you to come to campus either for an Open House or private tour. We’ll answer any questions you may have and start the application process.
Tours are held every Wednesday from 9 – 10 am.
Application
At this time, we’ll ask you to complete a formal application for admission to TLC. We’ll gather some information from you such as academic records, any special education accommodation documents, and discuss your educational goals for your child. You’ll also be asked to provide contact information for teacher recommendations from your child’s current school. We require at least one classroom recommendation and one other teacher recommendation for applicants in grades 1-8. Kindergarten applicants will be given information requirements for their applications.
Consideration
Once the application is complete, the Admissions staff will review the information. It is of utmost importance to us to ensure that we can support the growth and success of your child. We will then invite you to visit for a day and an interview with your family.
Review
Once the application process is complete, the Admissions Review Committee will look at all applications received. Invitations to join TLC are sent in late February for the following school year.
