All
TLC students learn American Sign Language with Ms. Katherine. An
emphasis is placed on conversational skills, with students in grades 4-8
developing a large vocabulary and working towards fluency. Younger
students often learn through the use of songs and poetry. Sign language
is a great way for these students to further develop fine and gross
motor skills. All students interact with the local deaf community during
each school year.
