The TLC board consists of ten members, up to two of whom are parents of alumni. Board members are asked to serve for a minimum of three years. The board is welcoming to new members as there are always parents who are ending their term. There are three non-voting staff seats on the board: the Executive Director; Administrative Director; and a staff representative that rotates yearly.
Please note that while we very much encourage parents to attend board meetings, they are closed for two months of the year. This occurs in December and January when the board is doing the majority of their financial planning.
I would like to appreciate Mitzi for her calm, sweet, peaceful, and patient way in the K/1 classroom. She is the best!
TLC is even more of a home this year than it used to be!
