TLC School seeks a new grades 5-8 Math and Science Teacher and an Office Coordinator to join our dynamic staff team for 2018 -19

Required for Math and Science Teacher:
Our full-time lead math and science teacher will hold a Bachelor’s degree in education and have three or more years experience in the classroom at a middle school level. This teacher will enjoy leading whole-group and small-group lessons in a multi-grade classroom; planning and executing hands-on science lessons; teaching with a combination of inquiry and direct instruction in 5/6 general math, pre-algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry; and have a passion for outdoor education.
Our part-time Office Coordinator will have three years or more experience in an office setting that involved bookkeeping; a demonstrated ability to manage schedules, appointments, and correspondence; and be efficient with troubleshooting IT issues. Must work ten months out of the year, August – May and be able to balance large-scale, ongoing projects along with the interruptions of day-to-day tasks that come with working in a school office. Responsibilities include general support for all school activities and events; management of school records and accounts; and communicating with parents, students, staff, administrators, and the greater community. Has an interest and desire to create and organize efficient systems and processes. Experience with school administration software a plus.
