to TLC
From
Black
Mountain:
Take US 70 (West State St.) through the town of Black
Mountain. Travel 2.5 miles from the
stop light at Rt. 9 and State St.
and turn RIGHT at the light onto Grovestone Road. Go .3 miles and turn LEFT
at the light onto Old US 70. Go
another .3 mile and turn RIGHT at the light onto Lake Eden Road. Drive 1.5 miles down Lake Eden Road. The landscape will go from
residential to park-like, with pine trees and boulders lining the road.
Turn LEFT into the first entrance by the brown building with the signs
on it. Pull straight ahead into a parking lot. The
school is comprised of the two small brown buildings in front of the
parking area. To get to the
office, come to the building on the right with the covered front porch.
The office is inside the front door and to the left.
From
Asheville:
Take 40 East to Swannanoa
Exit 59. Turn LEFT off the
ramp onto Patton Cove Road. Turn RIGHT at the next
light onto US 70. Turn LEFT
at the next light (there is a Crown gas station at that intersection),
cross the Swannanoa
River, and then take a quick RIGHT onto Old US 70.
Go approximately 1.5 miles down Old US 70 and turn LEFT at the
light onto Lake Eden Road. Drive 1.5 miles down Lake Eden
Road. The landscape will go from
residential to park-like, with pine trees and boulders lining the road. Turn
LEFT into the first entrance by the brown building with the signs on
